Bereaved Through Suicide Support Group
When a relative or close friend suicides – you are not alone – The Bereaved Through Suicide Support Group provides help and guidance to those grieving the loss of someone through suicide.
The group comprises people from all walks of life. Their common link is that they have been close to someone who has suicided – relative, child, friend or acquaintance. They are able to provide help and guidance to anyone bereaved through suicide. They are able to provide many of the answers to your questions through their personal experiences and provide comfort and support to help you through this difficult time.
The group is administered by its own committee and is supported by a council of professional advisors.

Childhood Cancer Association Family Service
The Childhood Cancer Association is South Australia's key childhood cancer support organisation, dedicated to providing emotional, practical and financial support to children with cancer and their families. As part of this support they provide bereavement services to families who have experienced the death of a child from cancer.

Homicide Victim Support Group
The H.V.S.G. of S.A. is a self support group for the families and friends of homicide victims. We have three main objectives: support, education and reform. We hold monthly meetings and produce a trimonthly newsletters. We can also arrange to meet one-to-one. We offer long term support with no restrictions on time.

LIFELINE
LIFELINE provides a 24hr telephone counselling service that is compassionate, non-judgmental, confidential and supportive of people from all walks of life, in need or in crisis. Counsellors are trained to help with crises in areas such as isolation, relationship difficulties, domestic violence, suicide, youth issues, loss and grief, mental health, child abuse, sexual abuse, drug and alcohol abuse, gambling etc.
LIFELINE has been helping South Australians of all ages, religions and social groups since 1963. In that time, our counsellors have dealt with just about every human problem.

Star Bear Program Anglicare Inc
The Star Bear program is a partnership between Anglicare Loss and Grief Centre.
Star Bear is a grief support program for children aged 5-12. For teenagers up to 17 there is the Star Bound program for teenagers who are grieving the death of a parent, sibling or significant person.
Children attend a weekend camp conducted by trained mentors/leaders. The programe aims to increase children’s understanding of death and the grieving process, as well as providing them with the opportunity to share their experiences with other children. both camps aee run by proffesionals and volunteairs in the area.

Stillbirth And Neonatal Death Support (SA) Inc Stillbirth And Neonatal
SANDS was formed originally to answer a need that parents had to talk to others whose baby had also died sometime from conception to 28 days after birth. SANDS is a self-help group consisting solely of bereaved parents. Parents often feel the strong desire to talk about their baby and to be with others who have suffered and survived the loss of a baby.
SANDS aims to assist parents in their grief and to help them understand the emotions that they are experiencing.
SANDS is managed by a Committee of bereaved parents who have the task of ensuring that the Organisation runs smoothly. They raise funds, apply for grants, do publicity and generally administer the business of SANDS.
